A 40th birthday card for a friend

A friend of mine will be turning 40 tomorrow and I met her whilst I was recovering from a hysterectomy in february this year.
Franki from www.acraftytouch.co.uk taught me to make this frame card in her card crafting club on a Thursday fortnightly. I used a tatty ted backing paper and decoupage. I used peel offs and some glitter. And outside the frame I added mulberry flowers.
And the stand is from the Tom holtz range but Franki does a packet of 8 for a £1

    What a great bond you and your friend have. This is a beautiful card that will mean so much to your friend because not only is it gorgeous but it is hand made :-)
