Wedding anniversary card

I decided to make my husband his wedding anniversary card. Even though it's not until June 25th I wanted to do it now.

I used centura pearlised card. Backing paper, topper, decoupage inside and verse layout from the Bebunni love cd rom, black card stock for matting and layering.
I used the ultimate pro to score my card,
And I used white cotton to hold my red hearts from my stash and the decoupage.
Then I added peel offs. Sticking the card together I used the best glue in the world colall glue. Just hoping he likes it x

1st blog of 2015

Hi all I would like to wish everyone a very happy new year.
In November last year I decided to give up crafting as I lost my mojo and interest.
And this week I realised i missed it so much so here I am making cards again and I am so happy.
I got the new Thelwell cd rom from crafters companion as I fell in love with it and I made the fold over card which is from the cd rom. I  used pearlised card stock in yellow and pink and cut them down to 5 1/2 inches x 11 inches and folded it in half then matted and layered using black card stock.
I used from my stash the pearl & gem stones. And I used a dragonfly punch and cut out 3 gold and 3 matching card stock for each card.

Also I have been on a diet and I have shred 5st and 1lb and hit my target in 8 months I am so pleased of the new me as I feel so much better x

Golden wedding commission card

Well I have made a card after weeks of not doing one.
My mother-in-law wanted a golden wedding anniversary for her relatives in Canada.
So this is what I came up with
I used centura pearlised card and gold mirri card,
The decoupage and backing paper comes from the party paws cd rom.
The gems and ribbon is from my old stash and I used collal all purpose glue and collal tacky glue.

A taste of India

Hi all

Well I cannot believe that we are in October already it's scary.
Well today I fancied doing a bit of messy crafting which I haven't done for a while.

Ingredients:

Crafter's companion Kraft card
Taste of India Indian Lattice embossing folder.
Neenah desert storm card
Taste of India tiger tiger stamp set

I used the A4 embossing folder and distressed the edges using Tim Holtz vintage photo distress ink.
I stamped the Tiger onto the Neenah desert storm card and coloured the image with my spectrum noir pens, I used CT1, CT2, Or1 and Or2 then EB2, EB3 and EB5.
I used a thin double sided tape and then put on some glitter around the edges.
I used the ribbon and gems from my stash.
I stamped the sentiment with Stalin ink pad onto the bengals desert storm card, then used my Die'sire die tag to cut it out then I used the distress ink to tie it in with the card.

Thank you for looking xx

A few cards I made today

Hi everyone,
Today I managed to make some cards even though I have a trapped nerve in my neck.
My 1st card I made was using the purple pearlised card, the backing and decoupage came from the Barkley paper pack, the gems I had from my stash.
The stepper was made by using the crafts too presscut die and I used it for the first time today.

And the other cards are made from the snowman & snow dog paper kit I have enjoyed putting these together.
Thank you for looking.

Gave it a go and succeeded

Hi all

I haven't blogged for a while as I wanted to get myself  focused in losing weight, which I am doing and I needed to get my mojo back for my card making.

Well I watched Leann from crafter's companion do the fab stepper card and using the new Christmas die'sire die on create and craft.

After a few weeks of losing my mojo I decided that I need to pull my finger out and try the new stepper card.
I used centura pearlised card
O'holy night Die'sire die
And a silver rainbow effect paper behind.

I absolutely loved making this it looks like I will be making a few more.

Thank you for looking Sam xx
