2 birthday cards for my son

Well it's my son's 20th birthday on Sunday, so I decided to make him a card. Unfortunately I made one then another idea popped into my head so in the end I have made him two haha.

The 1st one is made with Pollyanna's Walk in the wild paper kit, using the wolf image.

I used white card and black card from creative crafting world. Backing paper and large decoupage image from the paper kit.
The flourish and birthday sentiment and son is from Crafter's Companion website.

The 2nd card I made

I used white card stock and made it into a pop up card.

Black card to make it pop.
I used Sheena Douglas's a little bit sketchy shout stamp set,
I stamped the images and used Tim Holtz distress ink, Faded Jeans and inked the edges.
I used Sara's male signature range dies
The stars and also the guitar, and the happy birthday sentiment. And the son die is from the only words die'sire die.

Everything I have used on these two cards are available from

Hope you all have a fab weekend.

New slider card

Well I went to crafters Companion platinum members workshop which was held on 21st May and Kath Menzies gave us a project to do using the new signature collection which was released on Hochanda. Yesterday at the last minute I was invited to a 60th party being held tonight, luckily for me I am off work today so I made a male slider card using Sara Davies Male Signature collection using the dies and embossing folder in that range, and I also used dark blue pearlised card.

Here is the card that I made.

Wedding scrapbook page pt1

Well after being newrly married for 9 years on 25/06 I decided to try and complete my wedding album.
I am loving the new Sara Davies love and romance signature collection for Crafter's Companion, I have made 2 scrapbook pages today.

The 1st page I used love in bloom from the 12x12 pad, I cut a 6in circle and used barn door to distress the edges. And I cut the hearts from the love heart die from the love and romance range.
I used the you & me from 12x12in pad.
Cut 2 circles in white card and did faux stitching around the edges. "I love you so much" & "all my love" from the
stamp set. I did faux stitching on the hearts and I cut 2 always and forever  die cut in black and white card to do a dropped shadow effect.

All the items I used today except for my wedding photos are available at:

A 50th birthday card for a work colleague

Well today at such a late hour i realised I needed to make a birthday card for a work colleague as she turns 50.
I asked her husband what kind of thing she likes and he advised me that she liked elephants, kittens and cute things, I then remembered that I had a year with Humphrey cd rom and looked at the cd and found a decoupage sheet I liked.
I used black card, and backing sheets from my old 12x12 paper sheets, I used black ribbon and pink pearls from my old stash. And I found a happy birthday die cut greeting which I added, I hope she likes it x
