Messy playtime

Well today I decided to have a bit of messy time as I don't often play with my inks
Very much lately. And I got to thinking I do miss messy crafting as I loved going to Lesley Whartons craft classes when Franki had her in the shop.

I used from a very old stash that I never used from Stella crafts art tags which were designed by Kathy Mills.
I used squeezed lemonade & spiced marmalade distress inks by Tim Holtz.

The stamps used were called a little bit scenic silhouette stamp set from Sheena Douglas which was free in the quick cards magazine a few months back.
I stamped the images from black memento ink.
I got feathery ribbon from an old stash and I stamped a dragonfly image and put it in an ephinany tool.
It's not bad for a first attempt in ages.

Hope you all have a lovely day xx

Baby cards

I visited Franki's shop and Dawn from Dusk till Dawn was doing a card class that day, so I asked if Icould take  bits home to make my cards.
The card base is 6x6 pearlised easel card I matted and layered it with silver mirri card and used century pearlised card and used the embossing folder which came free with the cut and emboss machine. Used a paper doily and cut out two die cuts from the die'sire stamping frame added the pram using foam pads and used blue and pink gems to the relevant card. So simple and effective x

Notelets set

Good morning all,
I hope you are all enjoying the fabulous weather we have been having the last few days.
My mother in law asked me if I could make a notelet set for her friend, so I obliged.
My 1st port of call was a Pollyanna Pickering dvd rom called Snow & Ice which is available
From www.creativecraftingworld.co.uk
.

She did inform me that her friend liked penguins so I chose this design set.
The backing papers notelets, envelopes, tag folding etc are from the dvd rom
I used A3 sized pearlised card which is available from www.crafterscompanion.co.uk

And I used black card got it from the black card queen Lynda Chapman. Ribbons and gems come from my old stash.

Hope you like my notelet set and enjoy the rest of your day. Xx
