100th birthday card for Winnie

Hi all 

A crafty friend of mine tagged me into a post BBC Radio Sheffield was making a request for a dear old lady who is coming up 100 years old on May 31st she does not have any family and wanted her birthday extra special. 

So I got my Pollyanna Pickering's world wildlife dvd rom which is available from www.creativecraftingworld.co.uk 

I wanted to make an easel card and also a normal card which had an insert inside, and I decided to make this. 

I used A3 pearlised card cut down to make a 6x6 card

Kraft card for matting

Decoupage, backing paper, insert sentiment and ribbon strip is from the dvd rom

I coloured in clear gems with my brown spectrum noir pen

100 today numbers and word are from tattered lace

The doily is from crafter's companion die'sire range. 

I am hoping she has a good birthday.

Colouring in time

Good morning yesterday I decided that I would print a digi stamp out and sit and colour it in.

The one I chosen was by aurora wings. 

I actually forgot how relaxing colouring in was.

I used my spectrum noir pens and they are as follows

Face: fs1, tn2, tn3

Roses cr10, cr11, dr6, or1,or2

Leaves lg1, lg3

Eye bt2, bt3

I used pearlised card base 6x6

I used black card stock for matting and layering,

Backing paper is an old stock I had in my cupboard

And I used black & green gems.

I think it's time I did more colouring, thank you for looking xx

Oh I wish it was summer

Well today I got my Halcyan Days cd from Crafter's Companion out and get it used again.

Well today the weather has been utterly rubbish with rain, rain and more rain, so I decided to get summery and warm.

For the 1st card 

Centura pearlised card for base

Backing paper, frame card, bunting and bow from the cd rom

Black card for matting and layering,

Blue co ordinations card stock and clouds embossilicious embossing folder, sanded and gems from my own stash.

Card 2

I cut centura pearlised card to make a 6x6 card base

Blue co ordinations card and used the clouds embossing folder,

Card companion, backing paper, tag, bunting from the cd rom.

Blue gems from my stash.

I so cannot wait till the sun comes out, I so hate the cold
