Sympathy card

Well today I made a sympathy card for a family friend who lost her husband last week.
He was a lovely man whom loved rallying so much.
For the last few days I sat at my desk thinking but couldn't muster a card up. And today I am seeing her for the first time since his death and had to make this card.
I used centura pearl card and the decoupage sheet was a CUP sheet that I purchased a while ago. I printed the decoupage onto centura pearl card stock.
I hope I have done it justice.
Also the verse which also came from CUP says.

Take some time in the silence
If you're feeling low.
To think upon their memories,
To bask within their glow.
I know its not easy,
To let a loved one go.
Your heart will continue grieving,
Because you loved them so.
But eventually it will get better,
I promise this for you.
And may the joy of being reunited one day,
Always help you through.

I just hope that she will take comfort that I will be there for her xx

April's challenge - flowers

Well I decided to enter into the Crafter's companion monthly challenge blog which this month's theme was flowers.
I raided my Barkley paper pack and came out with this card.
The base card is centura pearl.
The card is the card from the paper pack which I cut down and placed onto centura pearl. The swing card I fixed onto the card and decoupaged Barkley & Purrdey,  I added pink and purple ribbon from my old stash.  I used the small rose die'sire die and cut the flowers using pink and purple core'dinations cardstock. And added clear jewels in the centre x

A special birthday card for a lovely little girl

Well after helping Franki in her shop at the weekend I was thinking of what card to make for Aimee as she is now 7.
So I got my Barkley paper pack and made her a card similar to the one Dawn Wheeler made on the four day deal.

I made the white centura pearl card as my base, and I matted & layered with purple pearlised card, and again white.
I used my heart doillie die'sire die and cut it out using the purple pearlised card.
The decoupage, sentiment and tag are from the paper pack kit. I used collall all purpose glue to stick the card and the pin flair silicone.
I added purple ribbon and also gems.
Also I cut out the number 7 using the numerical die'sire die.

I hope Aimee likes her card. Thank you for popping by.
