Fireman's retirement card

Well as I said hubby asked me to make a retirement card for our next door neighbour as he retire's from his fireman job today.
And I kind of panicked at making a card, as I didn't know what to do.
So I went to my La Pashe the big one cd rom.
I used white pearlised card and I embossed around all 4 sides in 1/2cm increments.
I matted and layed using silver mirri card and black card and I decoupaged the fire-truck and I used red and black dew drops on the sides.
I hope that my neighbour likes it.

Just for a change lol

My husband asked me to make him 2 thank you cards for his friends as they took him to Scotland for a golfing weekend.
It had to be golf themed. But the trouble was that I made a golf themed card for one of the friends in August and didn't want to do the same.
So I had a dig around the vast mounting cd roms that I have and had a quick peek and I remembered the flippin' men range so I got The Big One cd rom from justinklined and saw a perfect golfing one. Luckily for me I had some of the card which I just needed.
And I added the words thank you with a silver alphabet peel offs which my husband is pleased with.
Now he has told me that I need to do a retirement card for my next door neighbour who is a fireman so I better pull my finger out. X

Envelope card

I thoroughly enjoyed making this card I used Centura pearl card and made it 8x8
On the inside I took another Centura pearl card and cut it 11 5/8 inches and scored using my envelope board on my ultimate pro as if I was making an 8x8 envelope and cut the top off and fixed it to the inside of the card. And for the trim I used a die'sire lace border. For the front and the the inside card I used silver holographic card and used blue and yellow coordinations card stock and embossed them with the Art Deco embossalicious 8x8 folder.

The insert and card companions are from the brambly hedge cd rom using both spring/summer & Autumn/winter cd's and the buttons I used on my small circle epiphany tool with bubble caps. And I used my own pale blue and yellow ribbon. All of the ingredients that I have used on my card except my yellow and blue ribbon comes from www.crafterscompanion.co.uk

Birthday cards and wedding anniversary cards

Well I have been busy this month and not been able to get any cards done.
But I could let my husband's birthday go by and not make him a card and also a wedding anniversary card as it is our 6th wedding anniversary.
I made our wedding anniversary card using my Docrafts tatty ted digital designer cd rom. Acetate, mirri card, gems backing sheet and decoupage tatty bear.
My husband has 2 green houses and a shed and is always watering his veg on a night so I thought this is appropriate for him. The cd is called garden sheds from the card hut cd rom and the artwork is from the talented Mark Bardsley. So I thought I would do this for his birthday c
I had to make a card from the boys and they chose this image as they said it is so like that lol. I have used the same cd rom as the card I made.
Thank you so much for looking x
